Fifty years in high-performance sport taught us this: Intensity without readiness creates long-term damage. Sustainable performance is built when demand does not exceed capacity. Align sport and school with readiness, and performance becomes durable. What was once invisible and left to chance is now measurable, scalable, and actionable.
READINESS COMES
BEFORE RESULTS
A young person cannot grow or perform without a stable foundation.
Before speed, skill, or success, they need physical safety, emotional security, and predictable support.
EVERY CHILD IS UNIQUE
When readiness is visible, adults no longer have to guess.
They can respond with the right tone, demand, and support in the moment.
PARENTING, COACHING, TEACHING IS LEADERSHIP
Children differ in temperament, biology, and timing.
But the systems influencing their development—training load, recovery, expectations, language, schedules—are remarkably similar.
-

Mind Readiness
(Daily focus, confidence, and emotional regulation)
The Mind experience helps young people understand how focus, confidence, and emotional responses shape their day. Through simple check-ins and guided daily actions, R1 builds self-awareness and consistency—supporting learning, participation, and performance without pressure or labels.
-

Body Readiness
(Movement competency, strength, and load tolerance)
The Body experience shows how a young person’s movement skills align with physical demands through in-app biomechanical assessment. Strength, pattern readiness, and load tolerance are translated into clear, developmentally appropriate training recommendations—creating simple programs young people can complete at home with minimal equipment. -

Energy Readiness
(Sleep, hydration, fueling, recovery habits)
The Energy experience makes daily habits visible and actionable. By tracking sleep, hydration, fueling, and recovery in a simple, age-appropriate way, R1 helps families, schools, and coaches support sustainable energy—without micromanagement or compliance-driven tracking. -

Readiness Overview
(Mind, Body, and Energy brought together)
The Readiness State brings Mind, Body, and Energy into one clear picture. Coaches, teachers, and program leaders can quickly assess whether an athlete or student is rebuilding, growing, or ready—supporting better decisions so that the demands a young person faces never exceed their capabilities and capacity.
CONFIDENCE IS BUILT THROUGHT CAPABILITY
-
Ages 6–12 | Parent-Guided
Parents record simple check-ins and receive clear guidance to support movement, confidence, and recovery.

-
Ages 13–15 | Shared Responsibility
Athletes begin owning parts of the process, with parents and coaches providing support and oversight.

-
Ages 16+ | Athlete-Led
R1 becomes a personal readiness system to manage training, recovery, and life demands.
